Welcome to my Terrastar series.  This series is recommended for readers 12+.  This series lands between the middle-grade and young-adult novel genres.
 
A Message from Tharagar
I was adopted when I was four years old.  My mom named me Dakota.  When I was 12, my life changed forever.  I discovered that I could communicate telepathically with ancient crystals that were surfacing all around the world.  That led to my mom and me being chased by a covert government agency.  While we were on the run we discovered a secret society of beings that live in a place called Terrastar.  We formed an alliance with them, and  they took me home to Terrastar where my true identity was revealed.
 
I may look like an ordinary human, but I am a Starseed.  In fact, I am the most powerful Starseed in the universe and Prince to a lineage of famous universal royalty.  I fight to bring light where darkness tries to prevail.  I am duty-bound by the universe to protect Earth and all who inhabit it.
 
It is the duty of all of us who live in Terrastar to teach everyone on Earth that love, tolerance, and acceptance will build an indestructible empire; one that the darkest and most devious forces in the universe cannot bring down.

About Prince of Terrastar
Dakota Morgan is 12 years old. He grew up in San Diego, CA, with his adoptive mother, Anna, who is a respected archeologist. School is out for the summer, but instead of surfing and sailing on San Diego Bay, Dakota learns he has to accompany his mother to Mt. Shasta, CA, where strange crystals with ancient hieroglyphics were recently unearthed. Dakota and Anna soon find themselves caught up in a top secret mission run by a covert government agency. Fearing that their unwilling participation could cost them their freedom, Dakota and Anna secretly work to decipher the ancient symbols and reveal their connection to the mysterious government agency. Their efforts pay off and they soon find themselves aligned with a secret society that few people know exists. They learn the truth about the government’s mission, as well as Dakota’s true identity.
